Exceptional painters since 1997!
FinDecor’s team is proud to have painted, last August, the exterior of Delom Group shop in Pointe-aux-Trembles. Delom Group is a group of companies specializing in manufacturing and maintenance in the electromechanical industry.
We call ‘industrial painting’ the painting of large buildings such as manufacturing shops, maintenance shops and warehouses, which are often seen in Montreal’s industrial parks: Anjou, Pointe-aux-Trembles, Dollard-des-Ormeaux, Dorval, Kirkland, Pierrefonds-Roxboro, Pointe-Claire, Ste-Anne-de-Bellevue, Baie-d’Urfé, St-Laurent technoparc, the Technocity, Jarry, Armand-Chaput, Henri-Bourrassa, Louis-Hippolyte-Lafontaine and Pie-IX. Therefore, the exterior painting project of Delom Group was an industrial painting project.
The exterior walls of Montreal’s industrial buildings are often covered with undulated metal, be it in iron or steel. There sometimes is also a part made of masonry, brick or concrete. In this case, our mandate was to apply fresh paint on the undulated metal part on the superior walls together with painting the warehouse doors, window frames and the part between the windows.
Our preferred choice for the painting of an exterior surface that isn’t flat is the sprayer. The colour chosen was a very common choice in industrial painting, we call it ‘commercial brown’.
For this building painting mandate in Pointe-aux-Trembles, our painters used three elevation vehicles including two elevating platforms called ‘scissors lifts’ and one ‘cherry picker lift’ which we like to call ‘giraffe’ because of its likeliness with the shape of that animal. The giraffe allows us to go higher faster while the platforms can lift two painters at the same time when needed.
As the meteorological conditions were good, our team was able to complete this project in three days and the client was more than satisfied with the final appearance.
